Hi people, sorry for the delay. Yes, it is a 1.2 bug. The ecnomic Station in the proximity of the Hel system: Send a Constructor to add a module. Then save and end game. Restart game and savegame- the previously added modules should have dissapeared. ------------------- Save1.rar Debug_etc.rar *note: i'm running a mod with the current c
The UFO (X-COM) styled games are a very different sub-genre of turn-based games. Its like comparing master of orion 2 to X-Com : Enemy unknown ... EDIT: look at - your game's site for more info b4 comparing
strange - in none of my 1.2 games I ever seen these Lucky Finds ever again- had there been some sort of notice of something happening, now all that seems to be gone
Cosmetic B.U.M.P.
(See title) It only happens to my Economic starbases, Mining and Military ones keep their stats as they should.
it would be interesting to have a feature that allows one to set the map size oneself at start-up- this should make everybody happy... What I would love to see would be other galaxies unlocked once one reaches a close-to-win status
that should indeed sweaten up the expansion. It would be great if instead of larger warship tumbling about, the turrets would move into position and fire/recoil independendly...
Just 18000 ? That's nothing add another 0 and you'll get the picture of why it took me 60 turns post-upgrade to brake even again hm- well actualy I still haven't broken even yet... darn stupid Idea it was to ammount
Showcase: Heavy Cruisers of the A-Class (aka. "Demon" Class) -Walhalla Shipyards has released hands-on data on their newest cruiser designs. Customers are asked about their esthetic preferences for near future release- In detail:
Enhancing the Amon Class (Heavy Cruiser)... (The 'old' Amon Class on the left will feature in the library section, in a new release of ship hulls that is pending aproval)
Lol- on the other hand it is quite a reassuring feel to the constant AI approach: I was at War with the Torians (and winning) and decided to try and see for how much they'd let me of the hook... well, I offered them my fleet, all my cash, all 20+ technologies I was leading them by, and all my planets.... basicaly that would have meant I'd commit suicide and they'd win everything - EVERYTHING in one split second.... ... and they refused, mumbling something about them not wanti
When star empires surrender, IMO, their ships should turn pirate and try retaking some of their old base worlds- or some formerly uninhabited planet/system...
Its kinda weird having the people taxed at amazingly high levels and still getting 78-82% of votes Yes, I think it is too simple
get yourself HyperSnap-DX to make multiple screens... http://www.winplanet.com/file/11433.htm
There are 11 races by chosing "random" number of enemies and making your civ the custom civilization. Then all you need to do is to select the last civ (that is greyed out) and presto, you got your own civ and 10 enemies in the game = 11 in total (12 if you mod the game a bit and add the Dread Lords). @spazzykid: Could you make a little tutorial on adding functional major/minor races to the game, pretty pleeze??
I like the unaligned idea- they should become pirates... (see Star Wars expanded Universe)
Why bother with sequel then if you want MOO2?- GC3 will surely have in-built tactical battles from start on- it was planned for GC2 to begin with but there wasn't enough time/budget to implement it- if that oaf'd care to read what the GC2 people write he would have spared himself the trouble to openly display his mental misery...
Dito! In my games I usualy get at least one pan galatcical war (WWI-style) per game with everybody at war with everyone- all due to tight alliances, takes but one spark for the galaxy to turn real nasty. Play on higher levels and enjoy spectacular warfare throughout the universe...
For someone who choses the rather un-original name "Hate Stardock" and takes time to register at the game's Forum merely with the intention to bother other people with raving rants and the story of your own misery- well it suits you well to have been so stupid to have actualy "paid money for this rubbish". Who needs the manual anyways- you bought a game. So please spare us any further name-calling and yourself the time and troubles of remaining a forum member- your web presence was
