I try to avoid building SBs as much as possible simply because I want a very strong challenge without giving the AI any econ bonuses so I play on the Intelligent level in gigantic (common all) with a full board of AI players and I find my games are quite the challenge to behold and endure.

Hmmm.... I run a multimon system and I have not had an issues or glitch for that matter regarding the mouse. I use extended desktop and I have a Quadro 3000 for a Vcard. My only peeve with using a multimon system is the centered windows in game. I want to be able to move them to the left or right. Are you drivers updated?

Funny you should mention that, as it is my only real peeve about the game regarding the combat mode. The laser shots come from what appears to be the middle of the ship not the weapons.

I run a multimontor system and I have no issues like you do however I use LCD FPDs. My issue with multimonitors is the in game window placement. They are fixed at dead center and I want to be able to move them around.
It increases the base PQ value of all your planets by a percentage - very important in games with few planets.
I think it really rocks as well. Hell I changed the in game music to the Campaign 3 Divinitus song from Rome Total War (RTW) to enhance the mood established by it. Things worked out so very well!! If you have RTW - you should try it you wont be let down.

I have had some tiles with 700% bonus. I have also done a test with an edited planet setup and the race bonus (start up system only) and things where what they should have been -strange. I need to read more about this bug. Oddly, when I wasted my home world my bonus went 100% negative. For example my base was 20PQ and I had 15% bonus so my PQ went to 23. Hmmm... I have now read another five threads offering addition suggestions (some quite good). I think someone should the time to create and actively maintain a highly organized definitive list of features, functions and options the community would like to see developed for future updates even if only for discussion in the end. Regarding the Custom Race part comment, it can simply be handled by a random AI assignment.
