Eine wichtige Sache, die ich auch hatte (mit der englischen version) - stelle deine Ländereinstellungen in Windows auf US-Englisch..ohne das zeigte GC2 bei mir keine Planeten und Texturen auf Schiffen. (klingt komisch, is aber so )

Isnt it supposed to reduce the cost only, not the size? (also, I think you only see the "cheaper" cost after the ship is build)..not 100% sure but roughly what I recall.
Not sure since I didnt try yet but if refitting would be cheaper could you not: 1. pump out huge hulls with hardly any equipment (empty shells basically..just attach a drive and nothing else) at an insane amount of speed 2. have each that got produced upgraded to your other "fully armed and armored" huge hull next to the planet in 1 turn, effectivly producing the biggest, badest ship you have in a rate of like 1 ship/turn ?
Theres one other point though I dont see mentioned. The attacking fleet always fires first and should the defender take enough damage they wont fire back at all. Lets imagine having a fleet of like 10000 ships put into one fleet (ignoring upkeep and logistics), the only chance anyone would have against that fleet is to, aswell, put all his ships into one fleet..effectivly haveing one fleet per player. In Moo2 it was alot diff
I would really love the option (no fancy button needed, just keyb shortcut) to "really" put a ship on hold. Sentry and Guard is ok but it gets annoying when you have loads of sensor scouts scattered around that keep getting activated for every freighter or enemy scout passing by.
Alright, if I build economy starbases and add modules, I can see the effects in planet details (+X% from starbase) if those planets fall within reach of it. ...but how does that work for influence starbases? At first I thought it should work the same way...put them close to planets and they get more IP's(?) but thats not shown in planet details (as opposed to bonuses from economy bases). So next I thought they create their o
In my recent game (normal/huge) I actually turtled away in some remote corner to research only and due to my luck ability I have 10 of those ships by now and they all have move 3 due to the stuff I built (dont remember what it was exactly at the moment) and with that speed they become usable somewhat.
I was suprised too when I got the limited edition via play.com (to germany) for a total of ~30 EUR while Amazon.de offered the (sucky) German version for ~40 EUR...
I already have my wife and co-workers whine to me that there isnt a hotseat feature...hotseat or LAN would already rule...so for what its worth, please! please! consider adding it if possible
Ich habe mir extra die englische Version kommen lassen, weil Übersetzungen (gutes Beispiel GC1) eher übel sind...zu meiner Überraschung wars dann auch noch billiger (30 EUR)
