Current Poll: "Which feature in a GalCiv III would you want the most?" I chose Other ... Why? I'd like the existing features to work.

Well, editing post seems to be messed up at the moment... *** Updated on 06/16/06*** Tested Versions: 1.0X.1, 1.0X.2, 1.10.027, 1.11.029, 1.20.035 Bug not fixed in final 1.2 patch.
BTW, my grandma is 74 years old.
Hey whismerhill, thanks for checking I updated the main post. I haven't found the motivation yet to play another round of Galactic Civilizations 2... I can't believe Stardock is thinking of expansion packs already. At least you can finally upgrade from within the fleet manager window, if I understood the ChangeLog correctly. I'm starting to lose motivation to try and get this save game bug fix
Are you the save and load game kind of guy? Link
No news... Someone called echelon said here , that it would be addressed in v1.2...
Are you experiencing this , Mongius Maximus?
1.11.029: same ol' - same ol' Saving has speed up a lot though.. that's nice.
Thanks for sharing, Edna
Finally someone from Stardock acknowledged it ( Link ) ! It is on our list but it isn't at the top of the priority list. We understand why some people think this is a big deal but please remember that everyone has their favorite feature/pet peeve/whatever. I don't
Not working for me... I have 2 chars (one was created by mistake).. When none had points, I was able to select my default char. But now, that my default char has points (the other is not ranked at all), I can no longer change the default. I can click the link, but nothing happens. The one set to default right now has earned some medals, but they are not showing up here. There is no way to delete a character, is there?
I second this. Good idea.
A few more reports have been posted ( Link and Link ). Nothing from Stardock on this topic yet.
Another 10 days have passed, 1.1 finally released **bump**
i'd like to press "u" for upgrade, too.
Reloading save and pressing turn nothing gets built? There's a thread about it ( Link ). No one from Stardock has acknowledged it so far. Please keep the reports and exploiting possibilities coming <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2
I just installed GC2 on a fresh computer and used Stardock Central to update to latest Beta4. I started a new game, played a few turns, saved my game, then played a few turns, loaded that saved game and it is still happening...
It's deliberate This hasn't been confirmed yet. Please check this Link to a thread about it in the "Bug Reports" section.
It was deliberate Please reference a source in which someone from Stardock said so. Thanks. to prevent exploits of constantly reloading to get a better outcome in metaverse
It would be nice to receive some kind of reaction from Stardock to any of the threads. I know you guys are busy...
You're welcome, metawolfe. May I also redirect you to the "Bug Reports"-section, where I created another thread about this 'lost' turn thing, in hope to make the Stardock developers aware of it. Maybe you can repeat your post there or add your observations. Thanks! -> Link
Well, it's easy to say it only happens in the beta, but this is not the case here. When I found this happen in 1.0X.1 I then installed 1.1-BETA2 to check, whether it still happens. And it does. I tested it on 3 different computers, all installed from cd, updated with GalCiv2_10X_BonusPack_030806.exe and then ran Stardock Central to get to 1.1-BETA2. Maybe it only happens when you play the campaign games? not sure yet. O
*** Updated on 05/31/06*** Hi there, I just saw that the previous thread (-> Link ) about this was not posted in the "Bug Reports"-section, so I repost here in hope to receive more attention. Summary: Time does not advance in a turn right after loading a savegame. Tested Versions: 1.0X.1, 1.0X.2, 1.10.027, 1.11.029, 1.20b.009<
When I restore a saved game, all production and income become zero for that turn. This is glaringly obvious on the timeline charts for production. I can confirm this. But it is even worse: Time is not advancing at all. After loading a game and finishing the turn, you stay at the same date. No production and no income, but all ships have
