Crash on starting a new game in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Yeah I don't know how to get to the debug so I can't post it. All I know is that the game boots up just fine, I pick my galaxy setting and my oppenents and what not. Then, no matter what setting I choose the game crashes as soon as I hit start. I'm running Windows Vista 64 bit verstion with a NVIDIA 9800GT graphics card. Windows can't figure out for me what is going on but it just started whenever I updated to version 2.0 any help would be nice.

Thanks for the tips. Roaming siege frigate fleets have been giving me lots of problems.
