Great game, however one request. Starting positions need to be more equidistant. Not perfect mind you, but it is a little too random. Especially since I like blind exploration. Anyway to change these starting position to be more fair? I guess it is too minor an issue since I've posted about this before. Is it possible with a map editor (existing or planned) to have the starting locations somewhat equidistant from one another without creating the enite map from scratch?I like to play with the 'fog of the map' on, but I am finding the random map generated by the game to be a little too random!!. First of all, this game is great. I was an avid player of the Civ series and was looking forward to this space version. And it didn't disappoint except..... However, I was surprised that the Ai is so weak in many ways in this game. Where as in Civ I could never do well after dozens of games on the hardest setting (I forgot the name of it.. deity?)it only took a couple of games to easily win on the suicidal setting. I am trying to download latest patch. Been playing it for a week.I have an account at Stardock. I am confused what to do next. When I enter serial number it says that it is invalid. But how could that be when I had to type it in to play the game?
