Hey there everyone, It's time to show off the custom races you've created in gal civ 2. Please feel free to post your images, profiles, and information on your custom races. I'm curious to see what everyone else has made. Here's the format post all applicable: Race Name: Race Homeworld: Race Leader: Race Trait (super ability): Race Morality (The Good, the bad, and the not so evil): Race Portrait (either In-game or custom): Race Abilities: Race Political Stance: Race

I had this problem too. I had to put points into Economy and began the game researching up to Galactic Stock Exchanges as my first order of business. It sucked, but once my economy was researched and I had several worlds dedicated to only GSE's I had no problems after that. It just seems weird that Terrans have to bootstrap their economy first before beginning the game.
What do Economic and Reasearch Treaties do?
Whoops, was just looking in the wrong forum, my bad. Sorry, new on here. Is there any way to delete posts?
Just asking for a little FYI from the guys at Stardock. Can we discuss the Dark Avatar beta here on the forums or is there some kind of Non-disclosure aggreement against that? I'm just suprised, I haven't seen anyone really talking about DA Beta experiances on here yet... maybe their all just too busy playing the game.
Hey, all I gotta say is, the Dark Avatar main menu/loading theme is much cooler.
One thing I was disappointed about with Minor races is that they tend to never exceed the "Minor" status. I don't mean this in terms of simply power, but simply the U.P. and foreign policy. I'll explain. I was recently in a heated battle against the Yor. Several turns into the war, their allies began to attack me even more furiously then they had been doing previously. I was loosing the war horribly and had no allies with significant power left to turn to. The minor race of the Paulons were
Uh oh, think I accidentally purchased it twice... any way to negate a transaction?
Help me!!
Hey guys. I'm kinda new to the game, but I was just curious if someone could go over some major benefits of starbases. Most games I have only built about 2 or 3, and have hardly boosted their capability. Is this enough? I notice most of the AI have tons of them. Basically the ones I have are used primarily as supply lines to expand the range of my ships, usually I'm focused on so many other aspects I forget about Starbases. If possible, could any other
Just curious if anyone else is in the same boat as me. Myself? Well I am a game fanatic, strategy games included. I tried out a copy of Gal Cil 1 quite awhile ago and wasn't impressed (didn't get too deep into it however). I could not stand turn based games on the PC. Sure, I love playing Risk and Axis and Allies but board games were a different story. I tried out Civilizations 4 and could not stand it (I know, blasphemy to most PC gamers). So, Ga
Okey dokey, thanks guys. Got that one solved with your help. Just beat my first game on Gal Civ (For the record, even with 1 farm and 5 enterainment centers, Earth never got all that happy). Can't wait to try another one.
Hello everyone. This is probably a real basic question but I'm having a real problem with it. As the Terran Alliance (or United Star Systems in my game), I am having major problems with Earth. Now, several years into the game, Earth is on the verge of revolt at a staggeringly low 17% approval rating. All my other planets are in the 90 percentile. Apparently, reading into this more I realized Earth is at 22.2 billion people and they are very very v
