Same thing for me too. Always when a colony comes over to my side. Restarting the game will fix it for a short time only to have ti resurface a few rounds later. Geforce 7800 here.
Same problem here as well, its always after I have enough influance to have planets convert to my side. I also have a hyperthreaded CPU however, on either setting this makes no differance. Deinatly not just an ATI issue either, I'm running a Nvidia 7800 with the latest drivers, on a SB Audigy with an Intel 3.2 processor. Hope this helps, Great game by the way, I just hope a resolution can be found soon.
This may be a bug or not anyway, if I go to re-size an extra I have placed it will not take. I can slide the size up or down and get no result. Anyone know if this is a bug or not? Thanks!
