2) I don't reflexively dislike the idea, It would all depend on implimentation, but it's kinda intriguing. 3) Who in their right mind would sell military ships to anyone but an ally? ever had a pair of non-allies beating each other up and the "wrong" one seems to be winning?

I may be wrong but... I was reading the post on the "Galactopedia" it appears that you can see the prerequisits for different core ships. mayhaps someone can tell us for sure. I'll be downloading it tonight https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=162&AID=105605

The problem would be in documenting something like that. That's the problem we already have -- we have the realism camp vs. the people who want every number clearly displayed vs. the people who don't want the game to look like a spread sheet. Good luck with that <img src="http://images.stardock.com

My totally trivial contribution to this thread is : $500 debt ceiling is arbitrary and would be better as a % of tax revenue as it is now the US is $8.2 Trillion in debt compaired to tax revenue of $1.9 Trillion (i wish my debt to income ratio was that good) Forcing the strongest Civilization economy to function at the same debit restriction as the smallest doesn't seem right (but for balance of play may be a good idea)
