If you're going to beat me senseless for asking this, please use puppies to do so (cutest available). OK, now that I'm either safe and/or in the company of vicious sadists like myself, I'll ask, any prediction on a release date for the final 1.1 patch? I've done betas before but I'm wary. I'd rather see this patch in its final form so I can be totally wowwed instead of just mostly wowwed. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smil

Oh. Whoops. I wonder if I can get the stupid Terrans to buy my new Soylent Green.
OK, I can get through the first hundred turns or so no problems, my people love me, I'm doing great. But then my popularity starts to plummet, even though I've got Virtual Reality on every planet and my tax rates are under 10%. Thing is, some planets remain at 100% approval while some go down to around 40%. What am I doing wrong? Is this kind of like in Civ where I need to keep military units in orbit around a planet in order to keep peop
Please tell me the asymmetrical hardpoint problem is going to get some attention?
The only problem with that is if you play across two different races with two different ship styles.
I was playing a small game in which the Korx declared war on me and I proceeded to pummel them into submission, maintaining my lead as the most powerful civilization without breaking a sweat. They finally begged for a peace treaty and I took all their unique technology. But then they surrendered to the Thalans, whom refused to even help me during the war, and as a result the Thalan's population, research, and culture skyrocketed, propelling them to a
Great changes! Any word on fixing misaligned/non-symmetrical hardpoints?
I once had a civ turn down trading a military tech to me because they said I did not have the spirit of a warrior. So I blew them up.
Cool, thanks.
Anyone? Bueller?
Can't wait to get home so I can check this out!
You can get techno/drum n bass space music. Look for Kaos + Karl K + Jae K.
I bought online through The Gaming Network and it was a painless process, but I can't imagine TGN will always support this game (I'm thinking years down the line). Is there any way to get an actual disc shipped to me, without paying for the game all over again? I would've taken the Download/Shipping option but I paid using TGN tokens and it wasn't offered.
The more long-winded, the more helpful. Thank you very much Marcathonas. What's the format for those race pics? 265x265 png?
Oh, yeah, two other things. Is there any way to get all hull options in the editor without doing the research in-game? I want to build some capital ships but I'll probably get explodinated before I can research all that stuff. And also, I'd really like to be able to build moving parts on ships, particularly turrets. I want to make a capital ship with big rotating guns on it. <img src="http://images.star
This is going to sound pretty stupid, but I actually bought this game for the ship editor.
OK, I don't do these "forum" things a lot, so forgive me if I've said something stupid or commonly said. I got the game yesterday and so far what I've mostly done is play around in the ship editor (so much fun!). I found one bug, or at least I think it's a bug. On the default Small hull for the race that starts with the circular colonizer (the bug people, I think), one of the outer hardpoints on the bottom curve is not properly spaced. It's closer to the paired bottom hardpoint tha
