How do you stop the building? 1) Go to 'Options' menu either from the main menu or by pressing 'ESC' ingame. 2) Look under 'Game options' 3) Untick 'Build same ship until cancelled'. Job done.

As a major fan of the first 3 Civ games Im dissapointed in the fourth. Its mostly the pacing, which seems hurried in the early stages, also I don't much like the great person and golden age business. It just seems like its got too many knobs on... I really do like the terain and having to work it to reap the benefits. Air sea and land units all battling together is pretty cool too.

The wiki still refers to 1.0 - any more info on the new 1.1 hotkeys?

Well on the bright side, 'Watch List' works now.

The whole flagship and fleet thing is a red herring. Starbase Conquest Strategy just gives more powerfull ship assist attacks - and thats it. No other abilities according to Galatopedia at any rate. Stardock are just being nice to your upgraded starbase by kind of calling them flagships in the text description. Another puzzle solved I hope.

Riiiiiiiiight. So the best answer so far is that you pop out a module to your starbase, and this allows it to 'fleet' with any parked ships. Hmm, sounds plausible... Why does this game have to have more mysteries than Agatha Christie?

Sorry but someone will have to spell this one out for me... You mean you can initiate attacks with it even though its immobile? And er - its a constructor thing is it?

My mouse got stuck on the main game screen - simply wouldn't move. Had to restart the computer. The only solution I tried was a sweep with Spybot Search & Destroy, which removed something I'd not seen before called winfix ( I think). It worked after that....... (oh by the way, spybot search & destroy is an excellent free spyware remover - do check it out )

After all the fun of using two serial numbers to get the game up to date an everything, I've been sent a third. Why??????????????????????????????????????????// Has everyone been sent them or have I somehow won it? Now looking forward to my fourth.

So after all the fun of getting the game installed using two serial numbers, they've sent me a third. Has everyone got a brand new third serial number or am I just lucky???
