I completely agree with your comments regarding re-reviewing. With the huge number of games that get rushed to market full of bugs and incomplete features, the absence of re-reviewing has to act as a disincentive for developers to fix their games. In the diplomacy screen, show the cost of technologies so you can see whether or not a proposed trade is good value in terms of research points.
