I'm wondering where I can see a preview picture of the custom maps available in the game. I expected to see a preview of the layout in the field where you normally see a pic of the tiny, small, giant, etc galaxy. When I select a custom map from the dropdown menu, I don't get a preview of the layout. How am I supposed to decide on the map? Well obviously I don't want to start a game for every single custom map, so please let me know where I can view the layouts! Thank you very much.</p

- How can you edit your starting funds for a New Game? - I've already created my Star System for Custom race in the Customplanets.xml. How can you make the planets be colonized from start?

Hey! The Auto Updater says my version is up to date. When I load the Map editor and start with any setting (map size, planets, etc.) and then in the Map editor (New) right click in the empty field, choose 'edit Star', I get: Access violation at address 004EB95F in module 'Gc2Builder.exe'. Read of address 0000000C. Oh and I installed that xml thingy before I installed the builder. Running XP with SP2.

This is SO needed!!! Thanks so much! I desperately need to design my own maps, not only because I love to, but also because the game always gives me many 0 planets and only 1 or 2 habitable planets per star system. As if I set it to Habitable Planets - Rare Planets - Abundant - but I haven't. It's set on Habitable Planets - Abundant Planets - Rare Actually it doesn't matter what I settings I choose

Hi! I was wondering where I can find a technology tree for GalCiv2 that tells me what I need to build a certain ship (or project or whatever). Or a list of all ships with according requirements. Is something like this available?! Thanks
