No clue what's causing it for sure, but it's happening twice. I suddenly get a 'looping' sound from a freeze, black, then a solid blue, then the system completely restarts. Have only played the campaign so far, going to try 'sandbox' to see if that helps at all. Here is my debug info. I bought this game a year or so ago, and have had only one problem which was halfway my fault. Now, I recently changed my audio card to a fortissimo 4 and just tried starting this up... I get NO sound at ALL. Is this card supported? I'm not sure if I need to post full system specs, and right now I'm too tired to do so anyway, so when I wake up I'll do a full type up if it would be good.

I'm gonig to try putting some new drivers when I get the chance. That's the only thing I can think of that might be causing this problem. That, or memory, and I doubt memory problems would cause the window to not render at all, more likely crash out.

I just tried it, and it won't give a debug file. This one hasn't been updated since june. Gave me the same problem, I hit it and the start screen pops up, I hit play, and then it boots up, but seems to stop halfway. I also seem to only have 1.4 available in stardock, I turn off pre release and it doesn't do anything. Any other ideas?

This is a digital download one actually. i'll install it via stardock. Once it is done, do you want me to install that patch delete the prefs, then see if it works?

Since one of the patches before a beta patch, everytime I try to start galciv2, it opens the window, and seems to just about go and resize it to fit the res, but stops just short and hangs. I check the programs list and it is still responding, it just doesn't want to render seemingly. I have it uninstalled right now, but could someone tell me the steps I should take to help the devs fix this problem? I don't know what they need as this is the first time I'e had a problem and haven't read the for
