the upper limit is 25billion, this was explained elsewhere, but i think i remember it. the - morale from 25b peopl is -60% the morale building only help a little. 25% increase will reduce the -% by 15%. So, in other words, on a planet with less than 15 billion people, (the other morale point) and no morale centers, you will get on your planet with more than 25billion -60% morale. Lets say the planet with 10billion people has 75% morale, you would then have 45% morale on the planet

my idea is instead of the formula which i believe is total/games played ^4 right? is it (total/games)^4 or total/ games ^4, it makes a huge difference. also, that doesnt make sense, i have posted 2 games, 9500 and 9750, yes i am bad, i did first formula, it equals 1209 second = some insanely huge number but my metaverse score is about 14675. what is the formula!!! aside from that, i believe that the basic average of your scores should be your score. 100 2000 point games yields 2000 points 2 800
it counts all expenditure, and income i would say. at the end of my last game, i got bored and decided to set production 100% 80% research and did tech victory in a few turns, but it was costing me like 10000bc each turn, at end i had average income of -4732 bc. the game didnt last very long anyway
i break alliances relatively often. once, altarians took a planet that i REALLY wanted, so I broke my alliance, took it, gave them some tech, and remade the alliance. It does, however, lower your popularity, AI's dont like backstabbers
aside from that, the ai might have built other things but also seen you coming, and they enjoy copying stalin's torched earth tactic
this saddens me, as i would like to use the forums, however, there are issues with the posts being out of alignment with medals and pictures and names and there are also issues like the page never loads after i post or even when i click on it. could someone tell me what is wrong? i am using firefox.
ok, i have planets with 40 billion people and 100 % morale, and maybe 3 VR centers ofc, i also have ultra spices, 4 morale resources tax at 70% w00t. vr modules harmony crystals, anything that might in some way be related to producing morale, and, a +20% morale as racial ability. all in all, i have +300% morale in the abilities screen, so, unless you plan in doing something like that, you are going to need alot of 15billion people planets.
i agree that diplomacy needs to be worked on, but as for micro management, it has alot. deciding what you are going to build where, making sure that your planets don't have horrible approval ratings, where to focus production, things like that. one diplomatic thing ive wanted is the ability to say, hi, i want this planet and that planet, orrrrr ill rip out your guts.
The AI is kinda useless until you set them to the bright setting, then they get slightly better, but are still pretty easy to deal with.
ciko, as far as i've seen, the AI uses it's money when on more difficult settings. I occasionnaly see the stray freighter, but most constructers are usually doing somethin with resources. As for money, when i play on challenging, they are usually in debt even more than i am. (yes, i suxorz). But on more difficult settings where the AI actually gets to run without unfair restrictions they use their money, when they need it, and they do ignore their starbases, but, by that point either ships are t
ben's suggestions seem reasonable. It would be like "buying" a tech at half cost. However it should be reduced a lot lower, as some techs can get into the thousands. Maybe make it so that if the tech is 3000 bc to reasearch, lower it to 999 but if it's 1500 use the decrease by 50% rule and make it 750bc. If it's under 1000 bc reduce by 50% astral's suggestion seems a bit out of hand, and difficult to implement. How would you do weeks times 1
watch for the Arceans, they decide that they don't like you and try and kill you. Try and team with Torians and Iconians, and kill drengi. After that go after the big fish. Then You can decide what to do next. Balance research and military, it doesn't seem like you need to build up planets, and military starbases are very efficient at defense. Also, if you see the Arceans building durable ships, build durable ships, if they build attack oriented ships,
ive had that issue, a gigantic galaxy, all on sub-normal, Arceans Iconians and Altarians are the only ones expanding. drengin and terrans and torians are ignoring everything. there is also this huge area completely unpopulated, like 1/9th of the map
