Hi there... I am still using 1.8e and haven't tried the patch available here since I just bought DA last week and got not much time to play. Well. I also have problems with the pathfinding bug (using Fleets) and want to give some additional informations to CariElf to help him fix it. The bad thing is, the AI is suffering from the bug too. Making games very very easy since the AI's fleet is "stuck" when they have a fleet and don't move. To help you further more it looks

Once Eyes of the Universe is built, its not necessary anymore for any sensor things, since its increasing all vessels and starbases sensor range to 15. In general this is kinda lame, since it makes sensor stuff unimportant, also sensoring is easy and fast to tech.

I have this bug sometimes too. If this occurs you can't add the ship to the fleet. Doesn't matters which size it has. Happens to me with small, medium, large etc. already. Funny thing is, I had those ships in a fleet already, then disbanded, moved each to a seperate tile, upgraded them, tried to create fleet again. Doesn't happen very often, but when it happens its always in that situation I would need each ship I have. Ieeek, gue

I think this is just a strategic issue which is brought to the game. Planets with special buildings will become more "valuable" to conquer than others. To return to the topic. the technological capital only boosts bonuses on the planet on which its built. So a good idea is to put a lot of research buildings on these planets. Same with economic capital and manufacturing capital btw. Hope this will clear some things <img src="http:/

If you are lucky you will able to find a "Ranger"-Class Ship while playing, the longer the game lasts, the better your chances to find one, at least I have this feeling. Well, if you take a look at this ship once you found it, I noticed it has like 55 Missiles and Droid Sentries as Missile Defense on it. For some reasons, those are not used Only the Beam- Weapons/Defenses) are used.<

I have the same problems on my GF's computer (Athlon XP, GeForce 5700 (FW 81.98 (latest)), Windows 2000 SP4). Don't have the problem at home. Changed regional settings here, no success. ... got it... my fault yesterday, just put the "Input Locales" to english... What you need to do is to set the "General"-Tab to "English

I was wondering about that too as I built my first planetary improvement of this. But to be serious... this should be re-tweaked... Even if the cost is 0 bc, why the hell should I waste 9 size for a "free cost" survey module when I only have 38 size left in total on my ship??? Every single atk/def point is much more usefull.

Attn: Developers. Latest Version 1.0X - Crash when Saving Ship Design =========================== This seems to be a problem with the "name giving system" of the ships.
