The Borg. Your weapons and defences would adapt to whatever your enemy had so you always have a perfect counter and attack without having to put all three types on a ship. And you would get a big bonus in land battles.

It might be hard to spot if you chose a dark grey or black for your race color, that happens to me but it might just be my gamma setting.

I would love to have a scenario like this. I don't get to play very often or for very long when I do, so having the galaxy already colonized and the planets semi developed would be great!

This is a great idea and probably the only way I would get involved in the metaverse. And the tournament idea would be awesome. It would be great having a Tournament Winner badge that you could win, or being able to challenge somebody to see who scores higher in a scenario. Totally behind this idea it would only make the game better.

I joined because I enjoy the game and wanted to hear about how others play the game so I could get better at it. I have always thought that borders are a great idea but most other people here think it is impossible to implement due to the size of space and vast distances between planets. But are you telling me that people who are able to travel between stars and terraform planets and build mini-black hole guns cant set some sort of border? I know that the current borders are just a show of how far your influence extends, but right now there is nothing stopping an enemy scout from flying

Also be sure to use the game inside the game, the ship builder. If you dont create your own ships you are stuck with the stock ones which really suck. Mastering the economy is key to doing well in the game learn how to use the sliders. Have fun the game really does rock!

Hey what do you guys think about being able to blockade a planet so that is stops or reduces research and money and production for the owner depending on how many ships you are using?
