Sorry, One more thing. Playing good is the most evil thing you can do. After locking in good, you can be as evil as you want and the other races still love you. This can really be exploited. The only real victory is when you stand on the runes of the last surviving races homeworld and eat thier young!
Couple questions I have.....please keep in mind I still am playing dl, hope to fix that soon when I get a few bucks. 1. Where can I find the "0 year victory strategy"? I have an idea on how it can be done, but I really would not want to waste time doing it. Seems its good for boosting your metaverse score though. 2. I find that defending my colonys with ships in orbit is a waste of time (playing on masochistic or below). Does anyone really spend a lot of resources d
Thank you for the help KzintiPatriarch .
Lets see if this works as my first try at posting. Hello to all my new brothers in the Empire. I Know you all have no idea who I am as I joined a little while ago thanks to an invite by E-mail. I would assume a random invite, but an invite none the less. I still only have GCII DL and will be working on getting the exp pack for x-mas. Lets hope that gos well. Most importantly I am having problems with accessing my metaverse acct info, And I was hoping I could get some h
OK, I played a full game and I like the changes. Played huge galaxy, 9 random races, Common everything. And my custom race on tough. Not getting over detailed. These are a few things I was surprised at. 1. The AI beat me in tech. 2. The AI had better attack ships. 3. The AI had stuck with weapon specialization. 4. The AI planets had much better production planets and specialized Tech planets.<
To Draginol. "If I could reproduce it, I'd fix it. But I've yet to see it. And it's important to remember a lot of people have been waiting a long time and the issue is essentially cosmetic, the AI isn't benefitting from it at all." Play on huge galaxys with lots of planets. The Torian do it a lot on outer colonys. The problem is that if you destroy a starport you cant build any ships there. They seem to be putting
Kalen said a lot. And stole my thunder. Great job Kalen. I would like to add that there is a simple solution to most of the AI usage of planet tiles. The AI should focus on factories before building anything else on a planet. I don’t mean a mass of factories. I mean 1 or 2 to start, then begin adding other infrastructure. And on this point, why do I see the AI changing a stock market to a farm when it still has 8 emp
Hello Guys, I joined the Jedi Republic. But cant join the forums because hotmail is Banded. I understand why you would do this as spamers never die. If there is a way I could get in please let me know.
I dont read the mags so I would be hard pressed to help. But I will give it a shot anyway..........lol I think your right, most people skip the ad's. But lets say I do see an ad I think looks good. First thing I do is pop on the internet and read review sites and forums to see what the real deal is.
Save game Bug. There must be a save game bug, I will explain below. Huge Galaxy V.s 9 Races. Auto save set for every turn. Computer Info. I have no idea if this was posted before so please bare with me. I have everything updated on a 3.4 gig Pent 4 with HT. 1 gig memory and a radeon x300 video card. running windows Xp. I can play the galaxy games fine, But not the campaign. The first time I entered it the game crashed after the first couple turns. Now when ever I try to go in campaign it will crash right away. This started on verson 1.0X. This
Changes look great. I hope you fix the voting bug. (Hit space bar and voting screen gos away then there is no more elections for a couple hundred thousand turns. So your party rules forever.) I wanna say this is the best supported game I have ever seen and if star dock keeps this up they will get my money time and again. also I have viewed your postings all over the forums frogboy and believe you not only mad
Having a game that can beat you is a blessing. So many are so easy to win its not worth playing. I won my first contest on gigantic a galaxy, Then I figured I would try a metaverse game not really knowing what it was. Needless to say I started the game in the middle of the map and was besieged on all sides by some very unfriendly neighbors. Every time I begged enough to get peace from one, another would start on me the next turn. So when the
I would like to see a few changes to the interface also. 1. How about a cycle through ships button on the main screen. 2. I would like to see the current range of the ship displayed for a single turn. Not just the total range of the ship.
I have been reading the bugs for hours. Seems kind of funny to see so many problems but such is life. OK, I don't believe I have seen this one posted yet, but it happened to me and I need to post it. I was advancing to the next turn, when I hit the space bar just as the vote for the senate screen popped up. I tried to return to the government screens to see if I could do the vote for party leadership. And what do I see? The next election will be held in 429496729
