I'll definately try to raise my approval and get back in control, but I'll also try to piss them off Unfortunaly I have GREAT relations with everybody, so that may take a while too. Just get your approval rating to be higher and then you will be able to go into war. Does it have to be over a number of turns? I drop my taxes and get my approval 90% (for a turn) but I still don't win the vote.

I've looked around here, looked in the manual, and I can't seem to find any way around this. Thanks to diplomacy we vote on everything . Unfortunately I'm no longer the leading party, but I keep my approval rating above 50% at all times. There's only three civilizations left, and I'm trying to take them out and win a domination game. But I can't start a war! There's not a single race / minor race that my people will allow me to declare
