As already said, the Tech Tree changes looks interesting. While, most of other features like Spies, the Epic Gen, Asteroids,... doesn't seem too exciting features for me, Unique Race abilities and the new Tech Tree does indeed makes me curious about their impact in gameplay, (other features will surely impact gameplay also, but not neccesary for good). As has been told thousand of times before, a Tactical Battle feature would indeed be a total crack feature, justifying it alon

Greetings. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a 'feature', but I hope someone could explain this: As you can see in the screenshots below, I have a high population planet with two morale improvements, and two morale-related Trade Goods. Tax rate is fairy low. But the approval of the planet is going down like hell. In fact, when I finished building each of the morale Trade Goods, the approval rating did DECREASE instead of increasing (may
For the first one, ok... For the second one, if that is intended to work that way, (Accelerated startup scenario and probably others forces some or all victory conditions), then the options should be disabled, so you know what are you playing at. It makes no sense let the player change some settings, and then ignore them after the game starts. L
Greetings. I´ve just came across two oddities related to Game setup screen: Selecting Accelerated Startup scenario: -First one, I don't know if this is a bug or not: Opponent number is fixed to 8, cannot be changed, and galaxy size doesn´t matter. Should I be able to change it? (It doesn't make much sense to have a tiny galaxy with more players than stars, like my last random game, lol) <B
Greetings. Another bug report related to shipbuilding. With any of the new 1.1 betas, I cannot see any of my previous customized ship designs (done with v1.0X). But if I add a new ship design in 1.1b, with the same name as a previously saved one, when I save the game, and then reload it, all ships already built of this class have been converted from the new 1.1b design to the old 1.0X designs. Just happened to me with a massive fl
One more Tech Tree related odditie: Tri-strontium Armor II does not provide any benefit from Tri-Strontium I, same cost, same armor, same size for all hull sizes. Regards
Just for your info: The data I posted above was NOT extracted from the game, but from the XML data files themselves, (after realizing the bug ingame, of course). The game seems to do some kind of size adjustment for different hull sizes (bigger component for bigger hulls), nevertheless, as the BASE stats in the data files for both items are the same, also the adjusted data ingame for different hulls are identical. Regards<b
Hi. Just a very minor bug (or feature ) i've just noticed in my last game: Tri-strontium armor and its upgrade, Tri-Strontium armor II have the same stats (cost 70, size 6, armor 3). I guess that the upgraded component should have better stats, (like all other techs). Regards L
