I haven't played GalCiv since I bought it a while back but I wanted to start playing it again. I can't seem to find the patches though. When I click Update in the pre-game lancher it just takes me to where I can download Impulse and the Demo. I get the same thing when I click downloads over at the left of the site here. There are options under the "Interface" tab(think thats it) that should say something like full fleet battles or what not. There are a few options. Theres also a check that will make fleetbattles only show on full if both sides are fleets.

I kind of like the music when you first start a new game... but over time it seems to drop away into these ultra-quiet space sounds... I just run windows media player in the background. Maybe not the best method, but no problems so far.

Hmm, if anyone was interested. I reinstalled the 1.0X patch. My saved game still has the exchanges doing 15%. I started a battle of the gods game(so that I would have the stock exchange tech upgraded already). The stock exchanges I could build in that game were 30%... so it seems its just my file thats messed up. I already knew where to get the beta patch, I just don't want to get it because of the fact that its beta The posters above made it sound like the newest non-beta version should fix it. Which, as far as I know, is version 1.0X, and I have that. Is anyone else that hasen't gotten the beta still having this problem? Or am I an anomaly?

Alright, so today I finally made it far enough into the tech tree to be able to build Stock Exchanges. After I finished the tech, all of my Banking Centers began upgrading... I figured this would be ok. Then I go and find out that Stock Exchanges do less economic upgrade than Banking Centers. Won't let me edit my post... comes up with an error... I wanted to add that being able to save and continue later would be good to. Even if a human player had to be taken over by an AI, or a diffrent human took over for one of them... having to play an entire game straight through would take forever

If any kind of multiplayer is added, it should be like what Civ4 had. My brothers and I only played the multiplayer of Civ4... it just worked well(atleast with the 3 of us). If you haven't played Civ4, it had it where all the human players made their moves at the same time, and then the computers would make theres. Hello, im wondering what folder my custom ships are saved in? I deleted one, and used its name on a new ship, and now both of them show up in the building screen. I went back in to just re-delete the old one, but it dosen't show up in the Shipyard.

Hello, I got this game last night, and watched all the tuitorials on how to play. I went to sleep shortly after that. Now im trying to play, and when I go to rotate the camera, nothing happens. The tutorial said hold the middle mouse button, the only button in the middle for me is the mouse wheel(Which can be clicked, but it didn't work when i tried it). Is there some way to alter the controlls so that I can get this to work? Edit, mis-spelled camera.... twice...
