This is just to flame all you nerd #@*$'s who thought I was whining to hard about tactical battles lacking in GC2. Well i guess the sqeaky wheel gets the grease cuz guess whats comin' to town! YEEHAW, Tactical battles! NICE! Then the GC series will be the heir apparent to the MoO Series. And since the good lads at Stardock take pride in REAL AI, it gonna be SMOKIN! No more movie battles with zero input, me n' my battleships tactically smokin (or gettin smoked) AI oppo's. SWEET! A

You guys, who the heck was crying like a baby, I stated my opinion. Dont like it, too bad. I was'nt asking, I was stating. If you all want to play a boring 1 dimensional game go ahead, I want more. And I want Stardock to hear me. I was'nt at the beta posts or whatever so I hav'nt heard the "same ol arguments". It seems shocking to me that they did not consider making a tactical level ship control system. And FYI, RTW would have sucked hard as
Master of Orion also had the strategic decisions and the micro-managed ship combat together. In short, it was everything Gal Civ 2 has plus the tactics.....They gotta change it for me to be happy (then it would get 10 outta 10 from me....)
The only reason why M of O is still better than Gal Civ 2 is the lack of tactical control of your warships. They gotta redo the combat....Ship combat as it is now is just a ship design simulator where the computer controls everything. M y absolute fav part of M of O was designing THEN controlling my ships in combat. Now I just design them and hit the play button to watch a simple, but pretty number by number account of my wepon systems vs their def
To Cartier109: here's Y: people like me can't even play halflife 2 because I'm not on the internet at home (only at work which is where I'm writing to you now). Its S**T like that that makes me want to get pirate games just to spite the dicks who came up with stupid ideas like Valves. They can suck it hard and i cant wait till i can find a pirate way to play their game. DICKS!!!!
just wanted to share my few major concerns with the game: 1: ship combat is just as one-dimensional as the ground combat, no tactics what-so-ever, just a ship design vs ship design movie shoot-out with no human input! The ship tactics of Master of Orion, ship facing, movement, launching fighters ect. was FAR superior. That was my fav part of the game and SADLY lacking here. The only way the game could ever challenge M of O is if they r
