I bought the expansion soon after it became available. I purchased the web only version of Dark Avatar figuring I could be playing that day. From the first time I tried to download it from Stardock, the file will get to 99%, act like it's trying to install, and then drop back to zero percent and begin all over again. Hmmm, same thing still happens, at least I have the right email in my account now, so I have sent another email to support, 'Spose we'll see what they say, thanks for what you've been able to do to this point.

Me again....that worked for changing the email, and it's actually got me where I can see the download again, so I'll see how it goes, again, thanks for your time and effort on this

Kryo, I know you must be working overtime trying to help everyone, and I appreciate your efforts, but I'm also having similar problems. I downloaded the fist day it DA was out, but anyways, I had the problem of trying to download and it kept reaching 99% and starting the download all over again. I went through this like 5 times. Well, unfortunately that didn't work. I swapped over to the other server, and it went to 99% and then did the same thing. I'm sure it will be figured out and I'll be playing the expansion soon, but for right now this is pretty frustrating, as I've been at this for hours trying to get it downloaded. If there are any other things I might try I'm all ears.

I ordered Dark Avatar but am having some kind of problem with downloading from Stardock. I'm on like my fifth time downloading. It will get to 99%, act like it's about to install, and then jump back to starting the downloading process all over again. I know we are playing with puters here, and there will be bumps in the road sometimes, but any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated, as I really would like to be conquering the universe...lol

I'm playing a regular game, the star is there, you can't go through that spot, but it's just invisable

I also have the stars not showing up with the last beta...I keep thinking of the old Police song...Invisable Sun every time I notice it...lol

Hmmmm...might have found it, changed the ambient light setting a tad, went back into the game.....and it appears to be correct now, don't know why that would make it happen, but anyways, might be fixed now. Thank everyone for there time, and if it seems like it's not a permanent fix, I will post again. Thanks y'all

Thanks for your replies so far, my language is english( checked it), i think the drivers are up to date, but going to check now, and I'm going to try some of the settings changes that were suggested in one of the ealier post. The game plays fine even with this problem, and I very much enjoy it. One of the odd things is in the city screen on the main map where you launch the ships, it will be the correct color, but in game all empires ships are white

I've been looking for this particular problem and haven't seen it yet, so I figured I'd post. Usually I'm playing custom civs, and on the set up screen I can change the look of my ships, color ect. The problem comes in-game, no matter what set up I use for my ships, mine and all the civs ships are white with maybe just the engines and small details being different.
