Yes 3 leprechauns may lose to a warlord in battle... however If you're attacking a town with stone walls, 5 archers and it has a wizard tower that shoots.... it only takes 2 leprechauns to win the town... where 3 Warlords would fail.

The auto-restart is because you are getting a blue screen of death error and by default windows will auto-restart. Most likely it's a graphics issue causing the restart.... install the most recent drivers for your hardware.
Based on the power behind the PS3 console it shows Microsoft is holding back what PC software can do. This is being done because each OS released has to be backwards compatible for businesses. Well the reason AI development has been so slow is because developers plan for their future and it's easier to show and sell what fancy graphics you can do compared to how great an AI was created. Even gaming publishers don't ask gaming companies AI questions... they just expect them to make it work. I did some further reading and it appears if Stardock develops multiplayer it will be the primary focus of the expansion... this has never been done by other software companies and for good reason. Expansions should include many new features not a single feature. The expansion should include multiplayer as one of many features. Pax imperia was made in 1993 (same year as masters of orion). It was TBS, it had an extremely cool ship-designer (specially for that time) AND it had multiplayer support for hotseat and lan up to 16players!! I'm sure other multi TBS's excist.
