So I just downloaded Dark Avatar, and I was wonderin, what does the new "Detail Animations Zoom Level" option do? Maybe it's always been there and I just never noticed it, but the question still stands. Thanks!

I'm surprised by the response to my comment about the forums. Haven't you been frustrated by pages timing out, posts not showing up, the site being overloaded? I understand that volume was greater than anticipated, but it's 2006, robust forum code and reliable servers aren't an unknown science.
While i agree somewhat with this, what about the other way around. Since ships can detect enemy ships lightyears away, can they be able to suspect an incoming attack and be prepared as soon as the Attacks appear? Just because an enemy fleet knows another one is coming doesn't really help them; the at

One thing I thought was odd was how many of the missions made you throw away a lot of the strategy you'd use for a sandbox game in favor of a part
Weird, didn't see this post show up on the boards at all...

So I just picked up the Collector's Edition of Gal Civ 2 at the Wal-Mart in town, after searching CompUSA, Circuity City, Best Buy, and Gamestop to no avail. Oddly enough, it was priced the same as the regular edition (of which Wal-Mart had none). I had a couple of questions: - What all should I expect in the box? I noticed it's extremely easy to open without breaking the seal, and I'm just making sure that if I have the CD's, the manual, the collector's edition code, and
