I assumed that the comments about a 40-50% tax rate being best were based on a preception of reality. Halo sold a ton of Xboxes, Halo 2 sold even more to the people who got thier first taste of Halo on the PC. Releasing Halo 2 on VISTA only makes sense, this way Microsoft gets money out of the PC fans who would not by an Xbox (like myself). All things considered, I think I'll give Vista a year or two. I started this game on 1.2 and all was well until a galactic wide war broke out in the late game. I had built an achivement theat prevented my transports from being destroyed by enemy ships (dont remember what it was called), yet after the war started the AI sent vast numbers of fleets after my transports. Technically , it is defective. I dont think it can be called defective if he bought something that the seller had no right to sell (according to the EULA). EULA's are dry and very few people read them, I never do... unless I want to do something not usual (like install and use). I think I would have checked it out before I sold

I have got my moneys worth out of this game three times over already! i would be happy to pay a little extra money for a little extra eyecandy would be nice if my 6800 could run what they want to do.

As far as the consequences go, all the other nations hate you and then after you invade a country that never attacked you, you have to go begging to them for help. I have searched the forums every whay i can think of. Doeas anyone know what happens to social production "hammers" when you are not building any social projects? Are they converted into cash, moved to military production or research, or are they just lost and wasted. would love to know if anyone has any ideas.
