Somebody release something already Jebus

Many of you who don't understand how unbalanced combat is haven't taken the tactic I outline to it's logical conclusion. For the record, I play almost exclusively on gigantic maps with 9 civs on Intelligent. I've yet to encounter a single game where I lost any more than 9 ships total, through an entire game. I rarely have the opportunity for the game to exceed a early-mid-game level of tech (for the AI anyway) due to how overpowering my ships
So we're coming up on 48 hours since the promise of a link I'm going to guess the creator is still having connection issues :/ Jebus
Actually, I'm not really going to bitch and whine so much as respectfully ask that the devs consider adding/incorporating/considering some of the items I'm going to bring up (or at least mention whether you're already doing/considering something). And for those of you who don't understand the concept of "honey and vinegar", shouldn't you be off somewhere kicking puppies and screaming at

It's because no distributor would be willing to carry a title that would be cheaper to get directly from the developer via download. It's a concession that Stardock has to make to get the game into brick and mortar outlets, otherwise the distributor is being undercut and sees it as a kind of direct competition to themselves. Once direct distribution catches on as a more mainstream/acceptable medium of sales, this will change, but beca
Any word on an eta for when we can get our hands on this? Jebus
So where can I get my grubby hands on this already? Jebus
I like this idea. Mercs that act as privateers, thus don't invoke war with other civs when they attack (they'd appear as pirates to the other civ). Make them reasonably expensive and it could add a decent element to the game in it's rather sparse diplomacy aspect. Jebus
Could we get some information on the Campaign, Scenario, and map files? Specifically, the data details? I recall reading a post about the possible release of an editor in a future expansion, but until then, could we get some info on the files themselves? Things like layout, datatypes/definitions, etc? Jebus
No offense, "Scumbag509", But that's utter nonsense. Plenty of other games are not clear about htings, it's just what people are used to. They aren't "correct" any more than I'm "correct". We aren't debating facts. We are debating preferences. Different people have different ideas on how a computer game's economic system shoul
First off, I have to congratulate you guys on (overall) a well executed game, both in fun factor and staying power. I have to admit that when I played Galciv 1, I was rather unimpressed due to the lack of polish and generally poor execution (apologies if that seems harsh, but it's my honest opinion), so I was a little hesitant to try out Galciv 2. Thankfully, my hesitation was (for the most part) unwarranted <img src="smiles/Smile.gif" border=
