I am from Sweden too. I would've liked to buy a retail version of the game too (I just like having a "real" copy of games) but ended up buying it through Stardock. It was very simple and fast. Plus I have been able to download it and play when I visit my parents. So to summarize: Buy it through Stardock. Works like a charm.

Isn't the cost of each planet improvement listed in the corresponding .xml file?

Same problem for me as Tuominen. Physical copy and only has a key for the CE content too. Have tried several different ways since last night. Says my key isn't valid for registering my product at stardock. Frustrating... Also tried to create a character for metaverse. Did not work (though I must admit I expected this).
