Well, the manual indicated that there are supposed to be extra weapons for neutral. Also, when you research Xeno Ethics, the alignment description suggests that Neutral gets more weapons and defenses as well.
Yeah, I love the NLCs, and the extra tiles early are quite useful as well. But I guess the neutral weapons and defenses were not implemented?
The manual said that neutral alignment would get you extra weapons and defenses. Are they implemented? I can't quite figure out what they are supposed to be.
Yeah, I just finished reading Babel 17 about half an hour ago. Really wonderfully interesting book-- thoroughly enjoyable. I really love the way he writes, and how much control he has over his language. An excellent read. The only major problem with this particular book is that Sapir-Whorf was presented as being so deterministic..
The first few books of the Honor Harrington are good, but the later ones aren't as good. Stanislaw Lem, who just died yesterday Arthur C. Clarke's 2001 series. He also came out with a time travel/ alt history series in collaboration with Baxter. Samuel Delany wrote some excellent (more literary) science fiction as well. </
Ooh, that list's useful. so... Stardock people: Gounaropolous, Duffy, Wardell, Draginol Norse: Midgard, Yggdradill, Asgard, Jotunheim Scientists: Gauss, Tycho, LaCaille, Dawkin There's also a "Starbuck"
There's also a Sobek Re, which is either a Egyptian god, or maybe something from Stargate.
What's the system for naming stars in Galciv2? Ones I've recognized so far-- Romans: Caesar, Hadrian, Tacitus Gods/goddess: Zeus, Poseidon, Rhea, Artemis, Apollo Homer: Hector, Nestor, Patroklos, Achiles Science Fiction writers: Cherryh, Anderson, Asimov, Heinlein Also, is there a list somewhere of all the star names?
