Ok, an update to my bug report. I've updated my antediluvian catalyst drivers (I know, having four months old drivers is begging for trouble. My last update was when I've spent 6 days before being able to get to the Civ IV menu...) So, now it doesn't crash every other turn when saving. I'm hooked to this game and that makes it all the more a torture when it keeps crashing on me (i'm using beta4 0.18 and it crashes for me a lot more than the previous beta) I'm currently playing a challenging setting game, gigantic map, Thalan and 7 other civs. I have a puny 2,8GHz P4 1Gb RAM, Radeon 9600. I'm nearing the endgame (almost got those self-righteous altarians) and the game crashes every 2 turns or so when saving
