Is there any way to just nuke planets from orbit and forget the whole invasion part? i would rather exterminate my foes instead of dominate their planets.

I am sure many of you know that some minor races spam the map with influence starbases, and the only way to get rid of them is by blowing them up. Frankly its annoying as heck to try and build starbases in your systems when they are surrounded by minor race bases
