I honestly dont know what Im doing wrong. I dont remember having this problem in DA but now that i got TA i seem to be having a lot of problems with economy in the early game. Here is what I do to start: Explore and try to colonize as many planets around as I can. I often buy a couple colony ships. Then I start to build up planats. I prefer to specialize planets to one thing or another, like one planet will ony have farms, enternainment centers and economy centers, while another will

Well, I installed GalCiv2 again on my new computer and started it up, but for some reason all the animations are replaced by static pictures. All the animations from colonizing your first planet/getting an anomali, etc. plus the animation of the robot in research are all static. I went through the options probably more than a dozen times by now, but could not for the life of me find an option that controls animations. Is there some obvious solution I just can't find?

Yeah, the proportion of farms to entertainment centers should be 2:3 or 1:2 if you want to keep you morale up. I generally build 1 farm/2 entertainment centers on large planets, and turn planets with food resources into cash cows and build pretty much only farms and entertainment on them.

Ok, so I was playing along fine, my first game on "normal" and I got somewhat far, but then, after a turn the Yor gain influence over the WHOLE galaxy. I figured it was a bug, reloaded, but this time it happened again with another civilization. I doubt that this is a feature, so, did anyone else run into this? I have a saved game, but don't know where to send it.
