right, the Mod metaverse is a bundle of programs and web applications, that allows easy mod updating with versioning of the actual mod. It will produce file hashes to prevent cheating, therefore your mod has to be made compatible with our MMV Dev App, so it's ready to be uploaded.

hehe, well I won't make the mistake of giving a release date I can't hold again. We have a lot of Freelancer working on that project and each of them has there unique life stuff to do, so we are just as fast as the whole team is. But we are working, and the expansion is growing, and what you will see is the ultimate of GalCiv 2, so keep excited!

Hey there, I recently found something weired and did not find a solution, the mod display names disappear in "choose mod" window after updating to 2.0, so I have a visual empty list but the entries are there. If I click into the field I hit a mod, but I don'T see the name. Anyone have the same issue? something updated on the moddescription.xml I am not aware of? waiting for enlightement ;)

Sorry, we are not able to finish the x3 mod this year cause of missing 3d modellers with the right knowlegde. Converting the ships from X3 into Galciv 2 is the hell and noone wants to do that for free. We do not cancel it as its on 90% , but we will stop production on it until we find a good 3D modeller with good nerves. The new mod will develope much faster as we do not have the troubles which we had in the x3 mod.

We feel certain, that we can make this Expansion Pack bursting of new stuff and gameplay, without begging for code changes. But of course we have some little codechange-wishes too. If Stardock ever build them in may depend on how successfull this Community project will be. I-Mod is working on a lot of stuff for galciv 2 to release by end of this year, and because of our new staff we are now able to hold our promises. We plan to work on this Expansion pack for at least one year
thats right, it implements all weapon FX I created for twilight. It should be 2.0 compatible.
