The whole knowledge of this "wormholes" and spacetravels, is just based on theories. who really knows? till one person has made the first stargate and flow through it, I wouldn' care about what game creators think of a stargate. this idea is impossible. several ships will be given to the race from start automatically. and like Knightblade said: it will be veeery boring, this game isn't constructed to support such micromanagement which will be needed to have some little fun at the start. Civilizations series are better for that kind of Mod. and another question: why nazi-earth?

first one I'm doing this new weapon stuff for Stardock to integrate into the new patch 1.7 and yes , I did for them with DA 1.5 too, but I improved my skills in effects, and *sucked* all potential of this engine to create really new ones for 1.7 <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.

@pndrev: sorry I'm a bit unsure about if it is or not, I just know, for a metaverse game, the game loads different xml data, from the data/metaverse I think. I'm not sure if it causes a cheat flag if you swap the gc2types file, cause I don't know how the metaverse handle it. There are just animation value changes, no attack values etc which influence the game, so the possibility exists, that the metaverse will ignore that, and you can play it. try it out and let me know <img src="http://images.s
@Pmutzu: you can swap the existing planet textures, and possibly you can add some PQ 0 level planet textures, like the rock and gas giants. they should be named C0, C1 etc... I think the Game will use them. but the Game makes its own PQ 1+ planets, they have no single texture, but like patchwork, douzen of small landscapes (Terrain), wich will be matched together. Therefore, every habitable planet is unique. Changing the Terrain images, won't effect a higher quality on the planet surface,

well thats out of my modding possibilities. for that you need to change the code and the engine. I'll make a whole bunch of weapons for the next DA patch (1.7), but without turrets.
