Some guy up there said the UI for pc oblivion sucks, the only way to play a mage with many spells is the hot keys. I know the 360 version has them too but they suck also try to precision aim an arrow with the frantic speed that game has with an analog stick.... go ahead try it. the mouse is way better plus with an uber pc the graphics with make you wet your pants. navigating the maps stats items etc. with F1-F4 rocks, the menus on the 360 are to clumsy. That said I still love GalCiv2

Is the max number of planets 5 for a star? also anyone know when we can make our own maps? please don't say never.
The story wiill go like this... in the year 2006 a computer software company by the name of Stardock released a game called Galactic Civilizations 2. The game did not make them rich, but it did get them a reputation for making quality games. Time went on and Stardock released more and more great games, each better and more succesfull then the last...this made them rich. As a result they were able to develop the most advanced A.I. ever. They started to create "smart" computers, cell phones, c
Me too but some of them end up sucking and building a constructor or some ship in like 30-40 weeks! thats why i want to know the best way to use them.
Me again Also What about embasies should i build them? should i save space on my planets cause i have not gone that far up tech tree yet? explain soldering and how to make my troops better! sorry for all the q's I really like this game and want to get good anf learn the system well.
what is the best build q for planets 10-18? also I really want to know what to do with little planets 4-8? what about specialized worlds what are good sizes for each? Like lets say i have a 6-8 what does it need to be good? ( like 2 farms, 1 entertainment, 1 market, 3 factories, something like that is what I do now) Do planets without space ports need factories at all? How big should a planet be to justify a starport or to make it specialize?
