Does anyone else find it strange that the player and the A.I. can send their ships into other civ's territory without any formal passage rights or anything like that? Wouldn't you think that the Torians would have some complaints about the Drengin fleets passing through their space to fight the humans? I think it would be cool if you had to negotiate access to the other civ's territory.
SOmething is wrong with me. I get spanked on Bright Difficulty games. It's so frustrating. I usually start near Yor, and around 50 turns or so they declare war and bum rush me with transports. How do you geteconomy/research/proudction running before you get swamped by Yor fleets with 18 laser attack? It's pissing me off!
I can't believe how good these ships are! It makes me sad when I look at my own pitiful attempts. The only type of ship I am alright at creating is fighters. has anyone created ships based on the freespace universe? I made some, but I can't find them anymore, they aren't showing up in the game. some freespace capital ships would be great!
Woe is me! This game is great, wowie wow wow. I spent a large part of my reading week playing it. Now I'm back at school and I had to leave me home pc behind for my apple iBook. So is there a mac version of this delicious game?
