Posted this in another thread but after closer inspection, seems our problems were not the same after all. Start up a game, everything goes fine, get to the game screen, and No Planet, No Ship, and no Anamoly Graphics, it does show icons though? Ugh, experiencing a very similar problem, though I have no Ship, Planet, or Anomoly graphics, something seems amiss with the whole my documents and settings thing...though I just don't know enough...
