Doomray lacks graphics for me to, it have sounds and explosions and it do crashes the game. Well not really, but after one of my ships fires Doomray the turn buttom dissapears...

If there is a little grey shield next to the planet the problem is due to enemy space craft guarding the planet. Then you have to destroy those ship before proceeding with your invasion.
I have set autosave on 2 turns, which solves the problem somewhat...Using previous autosave to restore when it freezes.
The problem can be solved by choosing 'Tools'-'Settings'-'Internet' and finally pushing the 'Refresh XML Data'...And then join the inner circle ;)
I had the same problem with my download...But then i read at the forums that someone had solved it by downloading and reinstalling Stardock Central. That worked for me:)
To anyone who might be interested of the filesizes of these expansion packs: I can now confirm "pndrevs" figure for Dark Avatar (download in progress now), it is apperantly 254 MB.
No it does not really matter...I was more concerned with the possibility of the download beeing in the size of a DVD-ROM or so...which might cause me to overdraft on this months bandwidht:)
The lower panel only says Filesize: "Version Refresh Only" but if it's only 250 MB for each expansionpack it shouldnt be any problem then, even with my slow connection...Downloaded a 500 MB game at a little under 3 hours a few days ago:)
I am thinking about purchasing the expansion bundle of Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor...What concerns me is how big both these expansion packs are? Since i am on a mobile broadband connection i want to know if my connection can handle downloading these games:)
I would like yet another option added in galaxy setup. The option to prevent the AI to surrender before it has really lost all it's planets.
I cannot use SmartException always gives a message that says SDCzip missing Getting the same error when trying to use it.
Every time i click on the new turn button in the game the game crashes. I have a save game and the debugg.err (below). It's not the first turn either, rather the 101st or something like that.
