No Multiplayer--THANK HEAVEN!!!

Hmm, all those choices and no one ever mention "John Carter of Mars?" Written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the man who wrote Tarzan. The first book "A Princess of Mars" was written around 1910 or so, and I am pretty sure it was a large influence on the whole genre of Sci-fi. I also read that Superman originally came from these books, and if you read them you'll know why. Best Sci-fi I ever read.

I have yet to encounter anything but quite minor bugs. I can live with them for how great this game is.

I ordered mine the day it came out, and it arrived yesterday. It came through the United States Post Office, and I believe it was priority mail. It got here pretty fast the way I looked at it, about 1 week's time. I know I don't work for Stardock, just a regular player, but that was my experience.

Thanks for the help, but I am still just a little confused. I had a serial number to begin with when I did the digital download. Then I had my serial number e-mailed to me last Thursday or so so that I could get Collector's Edition stuff. Now the game has come with a different serial number. What one is the correct one? Help, help, help.... {when I was younger so much younger than today...}

My copy of the game showed up. How do I change the serial number which I need to. This is my first time dealing with Stardock and don't know what to do next. Also, it has a card saying I can go to the Collector's edition site and download content. If I already did this through patches, etc., do I need to do it to get anything else? Thanks in advance.

Little thing, but would be great for me... On the mini-map, you can see influence of each race. Only problem is, it tells you where they are from the start before you have explored. It would be great to have it that the influence areas are visible, but only for races that you've encountered or areas you've explored. It just doens't really make sense to know where they are when they don't show up on any other charts and you can't talk to them yet, etc., etc.

Any idea when my copy of the game will show up? I just can't read PDF's on the computer, I think it's a waste of time sitting here reading something instead of in book form (you know, like, you take it with you, or in the recliner, or relaxing in a hot tub {ever tried reading a PDF in a hot tub? doesn't work too well}). I have seen many screenshots of the sun "Sol," and Saturn always looks great. Many rings, looks real, etc. In my game, Saturn only has one ring around it and does not look like Saturn. Why? I see other planets with many rings, so it's not like my graphics can't display it. I would love to see this fixed, because it just really ruins it by not looking like Saturn. Jupiter is so cool it even has 'the great red spot,' but Saturn looks like a yellowish Neptune. Fix, please

Popup is correct...make sure the "Both sides musct be Fleets" option is turned off, otherwise the cinematic battles will only happen when both sides are fleets (read: not very often) I understand this, but the box has been unchecked all along and I still am not getting the cinematics. I have all buttons checked in options except the "disable engine trails" and the "only show battles if both sides are fleets," yet I cannot see them in movie form. They keep showing up just in the main interface as pow-pow, someone explodes. How do you get the movie part to work?

How do you know when it is the "next" ship's turn? This is my first 4x game, and it's pretty cool so far, but with only 3 to 4 ships, I was not sure how I was supposed to know who had moves left, etc. In other turn-based games (like Civ4 and Heroes of Might and Magic) the game always went to the person who I could still move next that turn. In this game, I had to check each person and see 'do I have moves left over with them.' Am I doing something wrong?

I remember seeing somewhere that you can have this as an option through the "bonus pack." I have the bonus pack but can't find that option. Does anyone know how to see them full screen?

The game downloaded 3 of 4 parts, then disappeared. Now part of it is back. The last part is not there, the update is not there for me to download. When I click on "Update game" from the opening menu, it goes to Stardock, which still does not have the 4th part I need or the update from today. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Okay, the stuff was downloading 2 hours ago, then "POOF", the last part and only one I still needed was suddenly gone from the servers. It still is not there, there is nothing new for me to download, but people here on the forums are saying they are updating and playing. I cancelled my pre-order with Amazon (said today it would ship in 1-2 weeks???). I then did the "pre-order" from here. I got everything through ok, received my confirmation and all.
