Brian "Spleeze" disappeared around may of 06. I helped beta test the Prometheus model in-game, but I'm not sure if I have the model around anymore, other then that model to me, he didn't release anything else.

no, if kryo is saying you cant mod something like that, then you cant, because he knows the files and knows what can be changed and what cant be, and my mind is very open.... however it doesnt change anything, modifying that stuff cant be done like that

i've had that, happen, and that is definately what happens, i've tried to always fight it, but it will happen, so you either do what you dont want to and destroy it, or hope you can take whatever comes out of it.

maybe 2 polls? a straight yes/no vote and if more people say yes they'd like to see a carrier, then the next vote is on which type of implementation people like the most. if more people vote no then it doesnt matter what it would do, it more vote yes, then we vote on which way we like best, so that the devs would see what we would want, and either say not gonna happen, or maybe. i dont really care anymore, i gave up on the idea a long time ago, but why not try a vote, im for it.

why do you need fuel depots? they are already there in the form of starbases and shipyards, i mean i understand you're saying youd like to have to take ships back and fuel them, but the range of ships is dependant on life support on the ship, and location of planets and starbases. when you reach your max range you build a sb and it gets bigger, because theoretically your ship would go back there when it needed stuff. again i get what you're saying, but its pretty much there already
actually i thought a long time ago the devs said you could do a type of hotseat play, you had to change something or use a cheat or something i dont know, the wiki might have something, of course i could be completely wrong about it. i just thought i remember them saying while it wasnt really hotseat it was almost... eh who knows haha
honestly, thats why ive stopped playing the game recently, and by recently i mean the past few months. im part of the colonial fleet, and all our scores were going backwards etc... and i just got frustrated, and haven't played since (of course ive gotten readdicted to a few games, which is part of the problem too) but still i trust stardock, and im sure they'll figure something out, or leave it, maybe they are happy with it, i dont know.
honestly, a lot of the game is like that, for the first 5 or 10 or 20 games haha, just trying different things until you find a balance of everything that suits your style, and works well. start on easy ai, find something that works, and just give and take, and see what works the best. then after you've had fun stomping the ai on the easiest levels, move up a level, and start over, and readapt how you play its a learning experience. believe me starting out you WILL suck, its almost certain. but
when i have a game with the drath and arceans they both spread like crazy and usually end up fighting for territory, without the arceans, my drath always appear to spread pretty far.

hey res, to get the medals to show up you have to go into the character screen and look the the right of your character info and there should be something that says make default, or something like that, i forget exactly, but after doing that, the forum knows what character (if you had more then one) to use and the medals should appear then
yes listen to darth kryo, he knows what he is talking about always trust the kryo, haha. like he said though, i have a friend who didnt have it work, but there are others where it has been fine, so install it and see what happens
i dont think thats what it is, because i know ive done the same things, and it shouldnt do that, it is likely a bug, and well, its a computer, and theres 6 races, it shouldnt be that hard for it to figure out whats happening, especially on a tiny galaxy. i mean when it can handle 6 races with hundreds of planets in a gigantic galaxy with all the alliances and trade, it should manage that fine, so you probably had some kind of bug.... i of course could be wrong, but under the circumstances, id sa

yeah its not hard at all, especially after your first save you just reload it again without connecting, and at the end it will say do you want to post the game? and you say yes and you then reconnect.

i use mythology for naming sometimes, like the achilles, apollo, things like that, i also use letters to classify what types of weapons and defenses they have like a 2 plasma ship with 4 missle defense is 2p4m or PP4m something like that. but like flayed one i use things from battlestar galactica, my biggest ships are battlestars, and i have caprican cruisers things like that, lots of different styles.
well his friend didnt like it, and gave it to him, so technically his friend bought it and wont play it anymore, i guess its kinda sorta a legal copy? at least he didnt pirate it.
