had this one happen once to me. I noticed the same thing. However, at some point after they get colonized, and a save/reload, they will display correct graphics for their PQ.

This may seem like a silly question, but why do a player's autopilot moves that occur after the turn button is pressed happen one at a time, but the AI players occur all at once?

Again, I suck with the search function. Pardons if this has been posted. After you invade a planet, the planetary population will reflect the remaining total troops on the planet. However, you only "use up" any transports who have some or all of their troops killed. Any remaining whole ship's compliments will cause the trasports themselves to remain in orbit, and will be FULL. That means if I invade with 4k troops (4 billion, in other words), and only 500 die, then

OK, the torians just traded the "subspace rebounder" tech to me. The catch is that on the trade screen nothing, and i mean, nothing, was listed on the torians side. After the trade, no tech window popped up, and there was no evidence that I recived the tech. The torians Initiated the trade. I'm assuming that this is a "good" or "evil" tech, that I, as neutral, can't access. Would it be possible to flag the alignment tech's you can't use as non-tradeable, so that others dont get s

Search on forum brings up nothing on this topic, but 2 things with starbases: 1. There is no +7 missle attack module, to match devastation beam or atlas beam. Attack values are 65, 58, 65 for beam, missle, and mass, respectively. 2. There are two (2) Battle Stations Mark III's, one with +4 attack and one with +6. Probably already spotted and reported, pardon if this is the case. EDIT: Gah, NM on the +7, nad to get final tech in missles to get this.

This is a collorary with my previous post. It seems that ship move points are also replenished when a ship is added to the fleet, but only allows movement in one case. The fleet must have an autopilot destination farther than its range. The fleet must add one ship at 0/x, where X is the number of moves, so no more moves remaining. After adding the ship to the fleet, the fleet will then move the number of move points toward its destination that the added ship has

A little bit of cheese for you using fleets. This is not a bug, but it may not really make a difference either. 1. Form a fleet. Faster ships are better. 2. move the fleet until it has 1/x moves remaining, i.e. one move left. 3. disband one ship. 4 Fleet now has a full allotment of movement points. 5. repeat until destination is gained or fleet has one ship left. OK, after download and installation, have an issue involving the Movie files. I have downloaded the full setup twice. The first time, earlier today, i had downloaded all but the movies and tutorial packs. Game started and ran fine. Current versions of DirectX 9.0c and Nvidia Drivers (feb 7, 2006 updated). However, upon installation of movie files game will begin to load, monitor switched to black screen with game cursor, then will ctd back to the desktop without any error messages. Removal
