Looks great!!! Will there be different types of soldiers animated in the invasion screen? By that I mean will you be able to see if the troops are regular marines or space marines and can you tell the race by looking at the troops??? I for one would think that would be fantastic (thou I know that a lot of people don't care ;) )... Keep up the good work! Zephyr

I think I feel more like G.W. Swicord on this one... But my question was if the Planetary defence works or not? It seems like my soldering on planets with a Planetary Defence System gets no better at all. I mean if you use a valuable tile on Planetary defence where or how should I get an advantage? And can I view the difference??? I hope that someone can explain this to me.
I my recent game (Dark Avatar beta 2) I was forced to build a couple of planetary defence buildings to keep my planets, the problem was that it diden't seem to give me any bonuses at all when the enemy invaded my planets. Maybe I don't quite understand how they should work, but aren't they supposed to give me a bonus to soldiering during an enemy invasion of my planet? And shouldn’t I be able to see that bonus added to my Total Soldiering bonus in the ground battle screen? And shouldn’t

I Think that Wheeloffire are onto something very interesting here! Maybe your spying should be tied/ restricted in someway to open trade routes and not a spy module? That would mean that you had to have your spies in place before making war on a race and the trade rout collapse. Just a thought

First of all, I really like the new things in DA-Beta. But I have a couple of things with the spy concept I think could be done better. Of course this is just my opinion what do you think? 1. Maybe make spying require a Technology just like trade so that you have to put resources into research to get the option of spying. 2. I think that the spy icon could be better. Is it possible to mod a building witch increase the population growth on a planet? I know it is possible to give your total civilization a bonus in Population growth but I'm only looking to increase it on one planet like a special super project Also if it is possible it could be used to assignee some buildings with a negative Pop. Growth factor to simulate the problems of pollution. An industrial Capital could be modded to bring a -20% Pop. Growth Best Regards
It sounds cool. I really love the game and the new ideas put into it. And I don't agree that the tweaks to the game that render "Old" good tactics less efficient will make the game more boring just different in a better way!

I can't figure out how to use the destabilization effect (in the manuals it says there should be a slider bar for this purpose) Of course it can be that the espionage slider bar and the destabilization effect is melted together as one slider bar! 2.
