Hmmmm.... I'm looking at buying an Nvidia 5200 128MB soon. I'd love to get something better buy I don't have PCI express so I can't really find anything else. But hopefully it'll help. But while I play the game, it'll shutdown and restart. This is most likey just the GPU overheating. But just in case heres the Debug report. Ok thanks. I'll look into this. But could you tell me why exactly its causeing the game to do this? I mean the I can get over the UI because I can pretty much make it out but the fact that when I tell a ship to move it like freezes for a few seconds just ruins playing the game. Thanks

Ok I fixed the problem and it ran! But its not pretty. The UI is not completly filled in and when I tell ships to move it freezes for a few seconds. Any suggestions? Thanks!
It turns out I do have Direct X 9.0 C......great.....yay....
Ok, so I got the demo and it turns out that I do need Direct X 9.0. Tune in later for the nerve rattling conclusion!
I have Service Pack 2! Yay! I'm gonna download the demo soon, wish me luck!
Do you want me to post the whole thing or just the Grapic card? For the record: 756 Ram AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) 9.0 Direct X Anything else? (I'll have download the demo tommorow)
I've got 32 MB shared graphics for my computer. Will that run Galciv 2 or should I wait to upgrade it before I buy the game? Also, if it does work will it be really laggy or look bad or will it be fine? Thanks!
Actually, there is. In the PC gamer last month, they had an article on a group that was taking Warcraft 3 and putting in the starcraft element. I saw some pics of it and it looks great. The best part is, they havent recieved a cist and dissist order.
All you'll really miss is the campain story and you can just read that anywhere. I started out without knowing anything about Galciv and now im givin advice to people. If your worried about not knowing how to play you can always just get either the demo of the first game or the new one.
I'd like to point out that, if you cant handle the AI's stratigies, then maybe you should turn down the difficulty settings. Otherwise, dont complain.
Dude. How dare you! A cliff hanger!?!??! This is too awsome for a cliff hanger! lol
I've got a question. I awsume that the devs put in stuff like 300% bonus farm tiles into the game for a question. So why are they such a huge problem? I mean i've been reading the fourm and i see what happens but, what were the devs thinking?
Personaly, I'd make it so that they respawn every 5 seconds!
Thats was like, awsome. I think the coolest part is, this shows that you dont need to be a dev of the game to write a good game example.
For those of us who didnt understand that highly complex summary of the story, what?
Does it really help to have a huge population? And how do you keep 29 billion people on a planet? lol
Ok, Thanks. P.S. Starcraft has never crashed on me. Ever lol. Which is a good thing sense its the only thing I'm playing right now til my PC gets upgraded and I can get Galciv 2.
I keep seeing bug reports. Is the game really that glichy? Is it really not worth buying?
I was just about to ask that.
Ok, thanks
The title speaks for itself. lol
Wut graphic card should i get for the game. My card needs to be replaced (its crap!) and i dont know wut to get. Game looks sssssoooo goood. The game examples are good and plz add more if u can!
