One of my games it was a 33 PQ. So be thankful it was a 4 I think thats all he has left. His only planet is the new PQ 4.

Being evil is the best. Now you have a real challenge on your hands. Let us know how it turns out.
Got my CGW mag last week, and they are now longer reviewing games in the print magazine. Your rating is up on 1up.com, a 9/10 if my memory serves. Thanks to their dropping the CD and letting people out of their subscription, it will be the last CGW I get.
Always happens for me on the 1st new ship or upgrade I do after starting the game. The other quirk I've noticed is my battle animations speed up after time (1st times they are slow and stuttering, after a couple of battles, they are smooth and as fast as I need). I have a 5200 vid card so that may have something to do with it.
I always make them research planets. I play in a gigantic galaxy. If there was a shortage of planets (i.e. tiny gal with all players), it might become a factory world.
They don't pick an alignment until you sell them Xeno Ethics. You can have an alliance with all sorts. I had a game where I was allied to humans and drengin.
I am a militaristic player, but all of my custom race bonuses go to research and luck. Been doing well in games with the mixed intelligent and bright AIs. So yes you can be effective with out the war race bonuses.
With the trade routes going at different intervals, my spending rate fluctuates anyway as I like to keep my spending as high as possible without running a deficit. I check my spending rate every turn because of this. For me the change in 1.1 probably won't make much of a difference to me because of my play style besides the fact that I may have more cash on my hands. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Yum.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
There are two events. The advanced ship in orbit and the evil pirates. My understanding is that it only affects things done on that planet.
On the internet everyone is a programmer, lawyer or both I'm a lawyer with a part time software engineering job for my own software firm. Why do you make fun of us so?
First of all, my allies are trading with them, so they do not show up under the attack window. They were surrounded by 20 logistic maxed fleets of medium hull ships and a fleet of two lucky rangers. I kept asking for tribute with no response, and I did a trade embargo on them. And allies do not automatically come to your aid if you start the war. I also supported the current civ they are at war with by giving them a fleet of old ships right by the
How do you effectively provoke a war? I've got two of the Yor's planets surrounded with ships and I keep asking for tribute. I do have two allies, one of which is much more powerful than I. Does the AI see this and fear attacking me? Also, how do I get people to attack other civilizations if they are trading with them? There must be some way to destabilize the relationship between two species. Does anyone have any advice or comments?
If you like Peter F Hamilton, try Fallen Dragon. It was the book he put out right after The Naked God. I enjoyed it, though not as much as the Nights Dawn trilogy.
If they had moved to only 1 trade route, I would have left and destroyed everyone. The allys I had left anyway were weak to begin with with crappy planets not worth the time to take over.
When they do that trade route thing for evil empires, I just research xeno ethics and buy my way back to neutral. That’s what I did, but I still had to rebuild my trade routes. Thankfully the ships I had out at the time were way above the norm of the galaxy. I ended up with an alliance
What happens when you leave the UN? I've wanted to on two occasions. One when they passed a no trade attack law and once when it passed a law limiting the evil civilization to 3 trade routes (it destroyed my economy). Does everyone attack you? Has anyone tried it yet?
Take-Two is the Distributor only. Stardock published the game which is why you do not see any reference to Take 2 on the box. Game sites and stores do not know who Stardock is because this is their 1st self-published title. Because of this, they get lazy and put Take 2 as the publisher. Stores I can understand, but if a gamesite cannot get the name of the publisher right, why would you use them as a valid source for any other data on a game?<
I've noticed with my creative that I do occationally get a tech before my reaserch was done. Happens more than once a game, but often when i have 3 or less weeks untill completeion anyway.
Probably more like mid 20's to early 30's (the average age of a gamer these days) Are we collectively that old?
Link Slower CPU, more memory, same vid card, with a monitor. Can you tell I'm bored at work?
Do you have a fry's in your area? They are good too.
Me likey this idea. No taxable population, make them like a starbase of sorts. Wow between this idea and the planet battle idea today, we might have akiller V1.2 coming up
I was quite pleased with the computer I got from best buy post rebate. Look for rebates there. Otherwise, yes they tend to over charge. If you want a cheap computer quick, look at Wal-Mart. I know they are the great Satan, but they do tend to have good cheap prices on computers. Just don't expect tech support there.
I would want more memory, but everthing else looks good (at least good enough for this game).
6 years old and you meet the other minium specs? You must have bought a monster at the time.
