Hello, Without doubt I'll be ordering TA. However, one of the features that interests me the most is "AI designed ships." I don't enjoy designing my own ships and this addition will increase my enjoyment of GC 2 greatly. Any beta feedback on "AI designed ships?" Thank you!

From what I read it appears that many players suggest that you redesign your default ships at the start of a new game. I'd love to see some suggestions in this regard so I can get an idea on what makes the default designs flawed. Better still it would be great to see some of the design specs as well. Thank you! it should probably also be noted to any newbies that the defensive capabilities of ships is supremely over powered at the moment, I don't know if this might impact a newbies first experiences, but I could definitely see it being a bit confusing if you didn't know how the defense was supposed to work as opposed to how it appears to work right now Can someone provide a few examples of what a newbie needs to know concerning current ship defense rules?
Try this... Go to START/RUN Type in dxdiag Click on the sound tab. Adjust your hardware sound to Basic. If that does not work try no acceleration. Hope this helps.

Brad stated in a thread I can’t seem to locate. That the amount of ram you have on your computer will effect the size of the galaxy you can play without endgame slow down problems. Does anyone remember what his example was or can you provide a link to the thread? It would be great to get some feedback on reccomended galaxy size based on Ram available or whatever other factors might come into play.
Here is a link to another thread that would fine the answer to this question useful as well... https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=162&AID=104879 It would be great to get some feedback as to the recommended settings based on available Ram.
Greetings, Brad stated in a thread I can’t seem to locate. That the amount of ram you have on your computer will effect the size of the galaxy you can play without endgame slow down problems. Does anyone remember what his example was or can you provide a link to the thread? I have 1 gig of ram and would like to know what galaxy setting would be optimal. I'd like to play the largest possible without any substantial slowdown. Thank you! -Redja

Well, if the patch does not come out today I will have to break down and get "Star Wars Empire At War," and I rather save the money. However as each hour passes my resolve is crumbling! If the patch does arrive today there will be no looking back as I settle in for a long weekend of Gal Civ 2
