Yeah sure.... everyone wants to know what happens next. It's just evil the way they transitioned the finales. I mean seriously, have it seem like all hope is lost and there is no chance for survival. Then make us wait for months.... thats just freaking evil man..... evil.

The initial process is automated, to the best of my knowledge there is noone who submits billing information by hand. I suggest just keeping up with this thread update it and give your email a day. Good luck.

I couldn't agree more. It doesn't take a Superman of computers to figure out how to use utilities like DaemonTools to bypass the CDs. I think the lack of true copy protection on GalCiv2 is making an impact but most importantly the game itself is exceptional, thanks.

You'll find that a fleet of smaller logistical ships packed with high end weapons tend to be a more effective attack platform against other fleets than say a fleet of dreadnaughts. They cost less, get an amazing initiative bonus (by shear numbers) on attacks, and build far faster. A 40 beam attack on a dreadnaught still only gets to attack one target at a time.

You can get a precursor event that will increase the quality. I got it at Mars once, level 8!

Specializing planets to do one thing is generally not a good way to balance your functions. I build one of each structure atleast, depending on the size of the planet, and its bonuses. If I want a planet to be more research or industry, I build more of those structures. Once you get to mid game you don't need to worry about stuff like industry. You can layer starbases to provide the industry. Build 2 or 3 economic bases per system and you got 70 to 105 extra industry right there. That doe

Had the same thing happen. Basically, you win the engagement but at the last second it takes away the small amount of surviving population who won the engagement. Definitely a bug.

You can only do so much tweaking. Once you get a bunch of ships in a small area it slows down. Thats the price of having an older system. I generally stay away from throwing too much glitz on my ships in order to keep things running smoothly.

Nice. Seems like that ship pushes a few polys. I've noticed when you have too many of those ships running around (on my system atleast everything slows down to a crawl from the galactic view. I end up playing most of my games from a strategic view perspective.

I've beaten a galactic map with 9 civs on painful. Working on the same set up on Masochistic at the moment. The most important thing you can do is use your 5k intro money to purchase factories and colony ships. If you got anomalies on, just let your survey ship pick all of them up and don't use it to scout. Make sure to balance your military and social building focuses to the needs of the planet and the colony ships. If you have a minor or major race nearby trade as many techs as you can. u
