The galaxy disk is as flat as a bunch of gaseous objects circling around a chunk of mass can be.. :/

If the Yor are over-powered, why do they always die first in my games on painful? And I don't mean to me. Weather I do the job or someone else does, the Yor ALWAYS lose first. If anything, I find the yor too weak.
There's worse. You're allied with someone and you conquer everyone else. If you forgot to break your alliance, you win diplomatically with a lesser score.
Suggestion for 1.2 : minimap that follows the main screen.
I treat every time my graphic card crashes as a sign I should lay off the game for a while. And it always does, sooner or later.
Well, the idea of big ships is that they have place for enough defense to be impervious to damage from tiny crafts. If you don't specialise them to counter a certain kind of weapon, then you're better off using small ships. 'sides, you'll be facing one enemy at a time usually. Most of the time they've specialised. Why bother with balancing defences between all three kinds? At most you should split it in two.
I don't really agree with bringing the logistics of cargos from 5 to 4. It means that I'll be able to have three transports in a fleet too soon, and that will tip the balance to me against the AI.
I choose evil if I'm fighting for my life and neutral if I want my economy to boom. That's what it comes down to, no? Good = Diplomacy Neutral = Economy Evil = War
What's the point of bothering with military starbases except in key sectors? They only cover a tiny area of space. Clearly more of a hassle if anything if you're going to go on the offensive. Besides, all that time wasted making constructors could be spend making ships that don't suck and winning a war.
It's as Brad said. "We have the 'realism' people VS the 'we want to know what everything does' people VS the people who don't want the game to turn into a spreadsheet'. "
There's no reason why your approval should be below 55%, really.
You can't please everyone all the time, huh. People were complaining that AI would trade military techs too easily, leading all the ai to specialise in the same tree. Now they made AIs more reluctant, but now they won't trade their techs. Fix idea : the AI should only be willing to trade military techs that are significantly below their actual level Fix idea #2 : you need the prerequesites to trade for a cert
That shouldn't be true...when wormholes move your ships out of range, you can still move them back to your space. I've also seen minor races build starbases that were nowhere near their planet, so their range may not be as limited as some people think. I'm not sure. I think (*think*) that the AI
Do ALOT of trading with them, and give them loads of free stuff. Your relations will go to "close" in no time!
The ships are out of their range. They can't move them. Move the ships to their space and *then* gift them.
2) Low quality planets have a cap in population. For quality like 4 and 5, it's below 5 billions. It becomes feasible to build a farm at class 8 I think. 3) It's not a bug, but a design choice. That said, they're going to change (or "fix") it in the next patch.
Should be easy to calculate an "average approval" just create a variable that += approval every turn. at the election, divide that variable by the amount of turns. use that variable in the elections. If you had high taxes for most of the turns, the turns in which you had low taxes would be negligeable and it would prevent user exploit.
Will the Good, Nuetral, Evil Ethnic techs be finished? Well mostly Nuetral and Good as it seems that those are missing quite alot compared to the Evil Ethnic Side. This is a very fun typo. I wonder which ethnical groups are evil? I vote the northern torians. They're sketchy.
Woah, this is nice. Very nice. Takes care of nearly all the things people have been whining about! Good job, S. I especially like the updated AI, since it's not perfect, the randomized oponents, and the constructor radius. This is really great!
there used to be terror stars. shame that those are gone.
Calling features you don't agree with bugs is rude. I don't agree with it either, that said.
Doesen't the AI create it's own ships just like us? Why should it care about core ships then? Core ships are just for newbs who want to start playing the game without using the designer.
I've got it! It's like in Starship Troopers, only soldiers have the right to vote! Thank you Heinlein!
No, that's one of the downsides with the game : hard to develop late planets. It's also the weakness of the dread lords. *too* high tech.
Yeah. It kinda sucks too since you can't build your own. Nothing beats the surprise of capturing an economic capital on a class 5 world before you build your own. I swear the AI does it on purpose to spite me.
