an old way around this i found once before was by moving the frieghter into the planets orbit then moving it out to establish a trade route, it "used too" at least consider the last planet it was in orbit of as its main planet so thats a way around this "if still works"

i find it more amazing how many people say about stuf fon this forum when what they ask for is in the options, its amazing, do people never check the options menu anymore before playing games?, i dunno about anybody else, but i never start a game without going through the options completyely first making sure everything is set up graphically and anylittle tidbits i might want to enable or disable
did you set each races inteligence level manually? or just use the main one at th ebottom? cu stheres a bug with that and its suggeste dyou do them all manually
It used to be close, it's been lowered to friendly, and to be honest they haven't said why. It's far to easy to ally now. if thats the case they should definately change it back to close, cus friendly is too easy to reach (i didn tknow you could ally on friendly now hehe) but yes friendly is way too easy to achieve and should not be able to
wary is the other one
you need to have good relations i think its when it says "close"
i watched a programme once about stargate and they explained about those simbionts or howeve rits spelt hehe, heres a tip.. do a google search for tape worms http://www.bartleby.com/65/ta/tapeworm.html is a small link too if ya feeling lazy
tiny hulls are awsome if used properly, they are best used for quick annoyance strikes and just generally being a pain in the arse lol specially since they are cheap , ive had tiny hulls tak eout full capital ships before so they cant be that useless, although i did need alot of em with high tech weapons lol, or ju
i dunno about the creativity thing, i never have creativity and i get it alot
it isnt that they are free techs, you still pay for them and everything, its just your research is much higher than needed for all of them, so your researchers can "invent" them all in one week , (thats what you call researchers earning their pay)
zeph, because it pops up and tells you edit: and no leeping spending on after reaching advance dis just a waste of money, it does nothing to help you at all, so when you reach advanced just turn spending off and after awhile you will steal techs, (if they have techs to steal that you dont have that is)
well i usually use a custom race or the terran, which could be reasons why, as custom races are "new and unknown" supposedly and the terran aint themost popular of th ebunch in any game i ever play, they kinda suck under ai control no matter what setting i put em on lol and usually everybody else seems to declare war on them as soon as weapons techs are available as if they all have a vendetta against em, so i dunno lol might be another reason why on mine <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2
i generally seem to have that from almost start to finish of games regardless of whos got the bigger military, even with races that aint militaristic lol, i think its just something a little screwy maybe not working the way it should? dunno :S
isnt it the "clear" button? seems to reset an entire race to its defaults for me anyway
id ejust like to publicly express my gratitude to stardock for their support and getting my game up and running again,so here here, i say they deserve a beer :P
metatron, it depends if somebody can come up with a good way of implimenting something like that, but i think it would be good to actually have race air space, i hate having to declare war to get rid of their damn ships lol, but oh well , it would probably take alot of trial and error to get a good system for that up so meh
i like the idea about demanding the offending starbases off those pesky minor races, buit i think you should be able to demand anything from any race, like the times they park ships nears your worlds, sometime si wish i could demand they move them out of my territory grrr
yes its displaye dat th ebottom left of the screen of main menu, in pretty big writing :-/ how you managed to miss it is amazing
i think its a sign they are about to kick your butt lol
ive never had one problem with the beta yet lol, it seems to work as fine as a finnishe dpatch
no, i believe that's just something they did to "spice" it up a little
it's better to be patient and let them sort it out properly rather than impatient and making them feel pressured into throwing it out at us unfinnished (although it will be unfinnished anyway as it would be a beta) but im sur eyou know what i mean lol, i look forward to it also though secretly <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" bord
so many bloody impatient people sheesh, wish people would pay more attention to what the dev said about "this week" not "now"
why aint surfing through them fun enough? im sure most people have read them already though, but yeah they are great
well on my game, it boosts the research output of whatever planet it is on, which is why i said above about placing it on a research heavy planet like the manufactouring capital boosts the output of production on the given planet, which makes a factory heavy planet perfect for those gigantic cruisers to get pumped out same for economy capital boosting income for whatever planet it is on but it is possible it aint calculating it properly ive never took much
