I have updated both my Gateway laptop and Dell desktop and have had no adverse reactions,I also have noticed my Dell seems to run a little faster with less USB glitches,which I had a few of those.I have a sigmatel audio card that they say is a SP1 driver problem,I reinstalled the driver after SP1 update and have not has a problem.So well see. :NOTSURE:

Hi,I also have a similar effect,after install of SP1 the clocks in my color also will not work,they are made with desktop x,so I believe they are all related. :p Also on a note of interest,I am posting this using Stardocks Impulse.

You do have to go to sound mixer in your tray and mute the sounds for dream.

Hi,I was just curios as to what the difference is between windowblinds and mycolors application of the same.Are the apps run the same or does mycolors install different.I have some conflicts with windowblinds installed with SDC but it seems they go away when i run mycolors.Is there a differnce in the way they run. :NOTSURE:

yeh sure do,have had the problem with all versions,pugboy has it right,thats what it does is change the theme to classic and then applies the blind.it then stops dreamscene.

Hi Zubaz,I am running Vista Ultimate with dreamscene 2.0 beta,It does it on all skins but Aero.Window blinds Ive noticed changed my Windows theme to basic?

I was just wondering if dreamscene is not supposed to work with windowblinds applied,my dreamscene shuts down if I apply any other windowblind besides windows aero.It says dreamscene has encountered an error and needs to close? (:(

If your copy of Vista is already registered when you reinstall it will automatically reregister,you should not have to enter your serial # again.

Thanks for a reply,Ihave already rebooted into safemode with networking and got the same instance of noncompliance,this problem is pretty deep seated.Did the same thing in safemode,I even tried a pc restore,Same thing.Will not restore due to an error somewhere.I am considering reinstalling windows,I have the cd but have never attemted a reinstall.

Logon studio Vista/BIG problem in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

Has anyone run into this-when trying to return to vista logon screen it blacks out the picture and will not change to anything else,Also it removes access to main screens in explorer.I had to use system restore several times to get my machine half back to normal.Logon studio almost acts like it blocks a DLL or something like that.Any ideas would be appreciated.Also downloaded standalone program from Cnet and tried to switch,same problem.

Strange USB problem and windows sync in Windows Vista WinCustomize Forums

I dont know if anyone has had this problem,am running Vista Ultimate,When window blinds is activated,the sync center stops working if i turn my printer on or off.If I unload all my windowblinds skins it seems to work fine.I dont know if anyone else has had this happen.I would appreciate any ideas at all on this subject.

I have had my system slow down,i uninstalled all of stardock and only reinstalled what i really only use instead of the whole shootin match,now i dont notice any slow down.Dont know if my uninstall or reinstall had any bearing on it,you be the judge.One note on this [i had security software hamper good installations].Reinstalled with all security software shut off completely,not the safest method,but i had no warnings or errors on the reinstall.

mrtee makes a good point,i also thought there was a different problem,i could not find any info as to why i could not download libraries.Thought perhaps it should have been posted elsewhere before now.

Ive had the same problem since yesterday also,thought it was my firewall causing it,but its not
