I agree with MooseTek13 (Reply #3). I myself waited, bought a new rig, and all is fine. Any money I would have spent just on upgrading the older box simply went to the new purchase. And I have uses for the old one still.. But now my new one is old already..lol..
Okay I admit I did not read the Manual. The .PDF version included is still Version 1.0. Since the Game has been updated to 1.31, are there significant enough changes to warrant an updated .PDF Manual? Thank you.
My vote- NO MULTIPLAYER!! NO MULTIPLAYER!! (for this game anyway) Let the Developers just concentrate on getting on the suggestions and bugs worked out in this game as it was released. Why water it down with multiplayer.. Just my opinion for THIS game..Make it as best as possible with distracting the Dev's! Thank you!

At first glance, it looks like there's about 5 or 6 different spots your Race Image shows up, in different sizes, different screens, but mostly the same image. Instead of the same one being doing it all, you could have a "Commitee" running your Empire. Kirk-Spock-Chekov-Bones..etc... Picard-Ryker-Data..etc John-Paul-George-Ringo Larry-Moe-Curly.. Update-I couldn't stand the suspense. Even though I already bought the "regular" GC2, when I saw the COLELCTOR'S EDITION in the nice, shiny box, I had to have that too. Both Retail off-the-shelve versions include the same sealed jewel case, and the same Game Manual. The CE includes extra the printed Technology Tree Poster, and an additional Serial Number to d/l the CE Content.
Is there such a product available? If so, does it differ, or include any extra items, then the "normal" Edition? Is it only the ship cosmetics available for download? A nice, printed Tech Tree poster would sure be useful..

I personally think, that at least ONE GAME in this world, concentrate on bieng SINGLE PLAYER ONLY, without tactical battles, so to concentarte on what makes the game the game, and FUN! If CGII attempts to do this, GREAT! That way, for this "genre" of a game, it can be maximized, and enjoyed by those you want JUST THAT in a game, nothing more. MULTIPLAYER-okay, play something else.
